We’ve designed controls to be flexible and adjustable-a user can change HUD layout, enable/disable some auxiliary functions (useful for experienced players-secondary fire button, look-around area), switch between right-hand and left-hand. ![]() Selecting zoom level manually on touch would have been painful. The smart-zoom system automatically determines zoom level depending on the distance to an enemy tank. The game has an auto-aiming system, which helps lead the target minimizing the number of swipes and fire on the move more effectively. We’ve done a few innovations that were supposed to “ease user’s pain” when controlling the tank on touch. ![]() It’s far more important to understand battle tactics-know the map with its lanes and choke points, coordinate with the team, take advantage of your vehicle’s strong sides, determine the weak spots of the enemy team, etc.īack to the controls. Player’s precision and reflexes are still important, but they are no longer a decisive factor. We intentionally tried to slow down the pace in game to make it comfortable to control the vehicle on a touch device. The fact that tanks in their essence are slow and sluggish vehicles did help us a lot. It’s always the case with mobile action games, especially in real time. ![]() Designing controls was the most difficult thing for us. What was the most difficult element while developing World of Tanks Blitz? How is that different from World of Tanks PC? We recently spoke with Dmitry Yudo about what it took to bring World of Tanks Blitz to Android, and now we’re looking at how the team extracted the raw elements that makes World of Tanks such a hit and crafted them into a standalone game on a mobile and tablet platform. The Way of the Raider runs from October 16th through October 31st, and is available to all vehicles Tier V and above.Since its release in June of 2013, World of Tanks Blitz has been taking the mobile world by storm, and with its recent release on the Android platform complete with cross-platform play, we wanted to figure out what it was exactly that makes World of Tanks Blitz a unique mobile and tablet experience. All tankers who complete all 60 stages will be able to get their hands on the unique animated "Radioactive Glow" camo. Both tanks are featured in the new video from Korn. Tankers will be able to get Credits, Free XP, days of Premium Account, several camos, a сustom player profile, and two new post-apocalyptic vehicles: The Tier V Spike and the Tier VII Annihilator. Will he make it to the front row of the Korn show in time? The Halloween extravaganza will also include The Way of the Raider, a 60-stage event. The problem is a crew of wasteland raiders who do all they can to keep him from his goal. The music video for 'Finally Free' tells the story of Captain, a die-hard Korn fan (and a known character in the World of Tanks Blitz universe) who's doing all he can to get to Korn's live performance at the 'Burning Games'. It seems like they have always gone hand in hand." "I think there is a connection between rock and video games because video games are intense and rock 'n' roll music is intense. It's true to the era, there are a lot of great tanks in there, and you don't just jump in and start shooting," said Jonathan Davis, lead vocals, Korn. "Korn is the perfect partner for our Halloween event, and we can't wait for rock fans and World of Tanks Blitz players to experience this exciting collaboration." "Wargaming is no stranger to musical collaborations, having teamed up with Iron Maiden, Swedish metallers Sabaton, and punk rock outfit, The Offspring, for previous projects," said Andrey Ryabovol, Product Director of World of Tanks Blitz. You know what World Of Tanks Blitz was missing? A theme song. You can read about the games and this cool little pairing below as the event will run from October 16th-24th. The video comes in time for the release of their next album called The Nothing, as well as the brand new Halloween mode coming to the game called Burning Games. The band released a brand new music video for the song "Finally Free" that you can check out below featuring them in a desert with a bunch of exploded tanks and one man fighting for survival. Wargaming and the band Korn have partnered up to release a brand new music video for World of Tanks Blitz today.
